Lives in Vienna: 4 years

I find Karlsplatz a place in Vienna combining memories, artistic style , people and pure isolation… for example saint Karls’s church reminds me of my city Rome, while the jugendstil of the metro station belongs to my favourite artistic movement and brings me back in time! The square is big enough to isolate yourself reading a book at sunset on the benches, maybe next to an accordion player or wait for friends on the church’ s steps.

The square gives its best in summer, when people gather around the pond in the complete darkness , watching a movie or dancing tango on some temporary dancing mat laid on the floor and you hear only the noise of the feet from a distance.
